Kent Ko began articling with Metcalfe, Blainey & Burns LLP in June 2018.
Kent obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, Kent obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University, where he was a member of the Dean’s Honour Roll.
Kent has diverse legal experience, which includes working as a Summer Student at the Metro Toronto Chinese and Southeast Asian Legal Clinic in Toronto and a boutique estates and commercial litigation law firm in Mississauga, as well as being a regular intake volunteer and caseworker at the Community Legal Aid Service Programme (CLASP) legal clinic. Furthermore, Kent has a strong passion for advocacy and have participated in and judged a number of mooting competitions throughout his studies at Osgoode.
In his spare time, Kent enjoys meeting new people, travelling, target sports, weightlifting, practicing Wing Chun martial arts, and being an amateur food blogger on social media.
Kent is fluent in English and Cantonese.
