Jimmy is an associate lawyer at Metcalfe, Blainey & Burns LLP. His practice focuses on corporate, commercial, and real estate law.
Before passing the Bar of Ontario in 2021, Jimmy had worked as a law clerk/paralegal for over seven years. Although Jimmy completed his LSAT and was accepted by the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Osgoode Hall Law School – York University, Jimmy decided to pursue his dreams to study abroad. Jimmy received his Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B) from the University of Birmingham with Class 1 Honours and a 4.0 GPA.
He now represents clients with major acquisitions and dispositions of commercial and residential land from start to finish, including negotiating, reviewing, and drafting agreements of purchase and sale; reviewing title and due diligence materials; and financing. Jimmy also routinely advises corporate clients in business purchase and sale transactions; commercial leasing; and franchising matters.
Jimmy is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
