Iris was admitted and called as Solicitor and Barrister of Ontario in 2002. Her areas of practice include will, trust, estate planning, and corporate/commercial law. As part of her will and trust practice, Iris advises clients on guardianship issues and care for children with special needs. She also works closely with clients’ accountants to assist corporate clients in using tax-efficient ways to structure corporate/commercial transactions.

Prior to MBB Law, Iris practiced with Thorsteinssons, one of the leading tax law firms in Canada, as tax lawyer. Before pursuing her legal career, Iris had had years of experience as a newspaper reporter. Iris regularly presents at seminars on guardianship, will, trust, estate planning and corporate/commercial law. Major banks and organizations like Yee Hong and Centre for Information & Community Services often invite her as speaker for staff training sessions and seminars to their patrons, members and the general public.
